Title: K60 FreeRTOS + lwIP port: http server & performance test

Target: TWR-K60 using Freescale Kinetis K60

Features:
- Using new MAC-NET hardware: using multiple buffers to save memory for incoming packets
- Using IP and protocol HW protocol checksum
- Using Ethernet header shift in HW (14 bytes to 16 bytes)
- Uses simple HTTP server example
- Performance Test for lwIP using UDP and TCP in Rx/Tx
- Using TWR-SER and TWR-SER2 board in RMII mode.

  Yes, I was aware of that official port, but that´s running uIP and I would like to run LwIP + FreeRTOS under a K60..

  lwIP + FreeRTOS is used with IAR v6.10. I think I tried with IAR v6.20 (latest version I think) and it worked OK.

  Hi Paolo!

  Thank you very much for answering. OK, my IAR 6.21 was crashing when trying to debug the project from flash, but it runs OK if debug is done from RAM. Maybe it´s a debugger problem. I´ll find a solution for that.

  Now, in your project, FreeRTOS version is 6.0.4 and lwIP version is 1.3.2.. Do you think it would be trivial, based on your project, to integrate last version of lwIP to last one of FreeRTOS??

  I mean, I would use your project as reference to get last version of lwIP(1.4.0) running as a task of last version of FreeRTOS(7.0.1)..Maybe there are some kind of complications I can´t see...

  I have a preliminar update using lwIP v1.4 but is not completed with latest FreeRTOS version. Send me a private message or your email so I can send you this info. There are new udpates with lwIP 1.4 which are not trivial.

  Is there any news on the preliminar update using lwIP v1.4.0? I have also experienced the non trivial updates of lwIP since v1.3.2. Would you be willing to share your update using v1.4.0?

  Hello Paolo, do you know what i have to do, to compile the project wwit CW 10.3 using the gcc compiler? I am also active in freescales community, you can send me a provate message there if this is easier to you.

  Thank you Paolo! Nice done! With our TCP/IP stack incl. embedded webserver we always had problems with our Ram usage. The footprint with lwIP seems to be much better! 

  Does anyone realize a big Websites with this port? 

  Is there anyone who ported the lwIP 1.4.0 yet?
