To import and build the RZ GCC FreeRTOS project in DS-5 perform the following steps:

NOTE: The assumption is that the RZ RSK CD containing the DS-5 IDE, KPIT compiler and Segger J-Link tools has already been installed.

1.	Unzip to default folder ‘FreeRTOSV7.5.3_GNU_RSK+RZA1H’
2.	Open DS-5 and create a new workspace in ’FreeRTOSV7.5.3_GNU_RSK+RZA1H/FreeRTOSV7.5.3’
3.	Then import existing project from:

FreeRTOSV7.5.3_GNU_RSK+RZA1H\FreeRTOSV7.5.3\FreeRTOS\Demo\CORTEX_A9_RZ_R7S72100_IAR_DS-5
 
4.	ENSURE THAT “Copy projects into workspace” IS NOT CHECKED
5.	Then build – should build without error
